Learner Drivers

Learning to drive
Lessons follow the syllabus as set out by the Driving Standards Agency and are broken down into small topics to ease the tasks of learning to drive.
 
Each one hour lesson includes:

• 1 to 1 tuition
• Flexible pick up and drop off points
• Use of a fully maintained dual control vehicle
• Own vehicle may be used if desired (must be insured for tuition purposes)

 
Pass Plus
When you have successfully passed your driving test it is strongly advised to take the Pass Plus course, which consists of six practical modules that cover:

• driving in town
• driving in all weathers
• driving on rural roads
• driving at night
• driving on dual carriageways
• driving on motorways

You can take this course at any time within the first 12 month of passing your test. You may use your own or instructor's vehicle.
 

 

Company Car / Advanced Drivers

Individual one hour driving assessment is carried out in the driver's own car and will highlight good driving habits with regard to mobile phones, speed limits and general road safety matters. This includes a written report of the drivers performance. Further one to one training may be suggested for drivers showing signs of risk.
 
Half day modules for three clients will see benefits from group learning take place starting with a group session to outline the aims of improving attitude and responsibility whilst driving. The driving will take place in our training vehicle.
 
One hour driving assessment in fleet vehicles up to 7.5 tonne can be arranged on a one to one basis, this includes a written report of the drivers performance.
 

 

SAFED Drivers

Driving assessment is carried out, normally with two drivers, in a suitable van. This will highlight good driving habits with regard to mobile phones, speed limits and general road safety matters. This includes a written report of the drivers performance. Further one to one training may be suggested for drivers showing signs of risk.
 

 

Minibus D1 Licence

A one hour driving assessment is carried out in a suitable minibus, i.e. over 4tonnes and over 5m in length. This vehicle must be insured for tuition purposes. A training course will then be suggested to enable the driver the pass the Minibus test.
